Set Up Guide

Installing PatientNotes is a breeze. All you have to do is download the app and follow the steps below.

The main purpose of the app is to allow you to route audio from any telehealth platform into PatientNotes so audio from both parties can be transcribed.

  1. Download the app
  2. Install the app
  3. Open the PatientNotes Mac app. It will be accessible from the top menu bar of your desktop.
  4. In your Telehealth app, set your speakers to be PatientNotes Output (Virtual).
  5. In PatientNotes, set your microphone to be PatientNotes Input (Virtual)
  6. Start recording!
